AC is a London-based research group interested in transdisciplinary collaborative practices, composed of artists, art writers and curators. It was founded in 2010 at Goldsmiths College, University of London, by six researchers of the Art Department’s PhD programme.
As an acronym AC stands for various meanings. It illustrates the different positions from and about which to speak. ‘Since each of us were several, there was already quite a crowd.’ (Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, A Thousand Plateaus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia, trans. Brian Massumi (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1987), 3.)
AC will hold salons in Berlin at homebase and in Murcia at Manifesta.
